KT2000™  

The KT2000™ adds graphic documentation to the clinically proven reliability of the KT1000™.  With the X-Y plotter, the clinician can create unequivocal, permanent records of knee stability for comparison throughout a patient’s rehabilitation. Users may also interface the KT2000™ with computer programs. Consult factory for details.
 
 

Instrumentation





ARTHROMETER®, Model KT2000™.  A self-contained anterior/posterior tibio-femoral displacement measuring instrument. Features electronic, audible force level indicators at 15, 20, and 30 pounds anterior and posterior. Powered by two standard nine-volt batteries. Instrument weight: 4.6 pounds.

X-Y Plotter.  Operates on standard 110v or 220v power, 50 Hz or 60 Hz.

Adjustable Thigh Support Platform. Stabilizes knees at 20° to 35° of flexion. Adjusts to accommodate patients of varying heights. Also available separately for use in physical exams. MRI-safe.

Thigh Strap. Autoclaveable, three-inch wide Velcro strap to stabilize external limb rotation.

Foot Support Platform. Stabilizes foot to orient tibia.

Reference, Maintenance and User’s Guide. Detailed description of device operation, including illustrated, step-by-step instructions for use and standard testing protocol.

Standard Carrying Case. Rugged case with contoured foam interior holds the ARTHROMETER® and its accessories.

Optional Carrying Case. For X-Y plotter.

Patient Evaluation Forms. With spaces for recording measurement results. Precision graph paper on reverse side for force/displacement recordings.

Goniometer. For measurement of knee flexion angle.

Reticular Scale. Transparent evaluation template for quick evaluation of X-Y plots.
