MEDmetric Corporation is pleased to announce the introduction of our new computerized knee testing system, CompuKTtm. Designed as an accessory to the KT2000tm it replaces the traditional X-Y Plotter with a lap top computer based graphical data collection and management system. More than ten years in development, finally the state of the computer art has made possible a practical, portable equipment that is suitable for the clinic.
MEDmetric is making this system available to users of existing KT2000 systems as well as to new system purchasers. You will need a normally functioning IBM or IBM clone lap top computer which you will use as a dedicated knee tester. No Apples please. It must, as a minimum be a 233 mhz Pentium II, or equivalent running Win 2000/98/95/ME/NT or XP with 32 meg ram, floppy drive, 2 gig hard drive, and one free pcmcia card slot.
The complete CompuKT system consists of a KT2000 package without the X-Y Plotter, a pcmcia card and cable assembly, with Software and instructions for installation. A suitable computer is available on request at a reasonable charge.
MEDmetric can install the CompuKT software and pcmcia card and associated electronics into your normally functioning lap top computer. We will calibrate your KT2000 instrument and integrate it with the computer. We will fully test the system thus created and return it to you in complete operational condition. This service is offered on a time and material basis.
