Dale M. Daniel, M.D., and Lawrence L. Malcolm, Ph.D., developed medical and biomechanical principles that resulted in the invention of a ligament testing device.  Their work led to the formation of  MEDmetric® Corporation, which in association with Dr. Daniels, developed additional patented devices.

The knee ligament ARTHROMETER® has evolved into a family of accurate, portable instruments that measure anterior or posterior knee stability at various angles of flexion.  from diagnosis through surgery and into postoperative rehabilitation, the Knee Ligament ARTHROMETER® has become a valuable tool in documenting the condition of cruciate ligaments.
